Girl Scout Cookie Time

It is time for Girl Scout Cookies again. We love this time of year. Going door to door and calling friends and family. There are still the same old favorites like the Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, and Do-Si-Dos. But this year there is a new cookie called the Dulce De Leche. It is pretty good. I tried it at Scout meeting and I really liked it. On Friday, I got to go to the cookie kick off it was lots of fun and we did activities around cookies and cookie sales. My goal again this year is 500 boxes.

I have done lots in Girl Scouts this year. My biggest accomplishment by far with Girl Scouts was earning the Girl Scout Bronze award. It is really hard and not many Junior Girl Scouts earn this award. div>

In October, we went house to house trick or treating for food. We donated the food to a local homeless shelter.

In November, I worked on lots of badges both with the troop and on my own. I now have earned over 21 badges as a Junior.

In December, we had a party with our troop. It was pretty fun. We made ornaments to take to a local Retirement Center for their Christmas Tree. Another service projects was when a Layton Family had mailed a letter to us asking for some help. They had Quads (4 babies) in October and were pretty overwhelmed. We donated lots of baby food and diapers. I went to their house to drop off the stuff. Of the Montoya Quads, two boys and one girl were home from the hospital. There was only one that had not come home yet. That was a busy busy family and I really liked going there.

And now that it is January we are selling selling selling box after box. So if you need any call us or email us and we will hook you up.

I can't wait to tell you what I have going on next month.
